ronceray

I have just finished to read Luis Bunuel's autobiography "Mon Dernier soupir". Jean-Claude Carrière co-wrote this book, as he co-signed many of Bunuel's movies. Sometimes I can see him walking down my street, since Carrière lives in an ancien brothel on the top of it. He was playing this terrible priest in Journal d'une femme de chambre, with Jeanne Moreau. Bunuel was conceived in the 9th arrondissement in this hotel Ronceray that I see everyday. It's a famous location, because you have le passage des panoramas right here. It's also the place where you will find the wax museum; to have been conceived near a wax museum is very Bunuel, I guess.
